SUNDAY 30 th DECEMBER 2018
Monday 31st December there will be the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 5:30pm for adoration in silence. At 6pm there will be the celebration of Evening Prayer and at 6:3pm a thanksgiving mass that will end with the hymn Te Deum Laudamus.
Tuesday 1st January is the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God. Its a day of obligation, and the mass schedule will be like that of every Sunday. THERE WILL BE NO MASS AT NOON.
On Thursday, in prepration for the installation of the new parish priest, he will celebrate mass at Ġesu l-Ħabib Chapel at 6:00pm and lead a short Eucharistic adoration afterwards.
Friday is the first Friday of the month. At 5:45pm the parish priest will lead the Eucharistic adoration together with the parish groups and the Divine Mercy Group. There will be mass at 6:30pm as usual.
Saturday we will have the rosary after the 9:30am mass. In the evening the celebration of the installation of the new parish priest starts at 5:00pm from Scicluna Str infront the parish centre where the members of the parish groups, together with the Balluta Band and Queen Victoria Band will accompany him through Old College Str, Marjanu Vella Str, St. Angelo Str, St. Henry Str, St.Helen Str, Manwel Dimech Str, Balluta Square to the Parsih Church, where at 6:30pm the Auxiliary Bishop Mons. Joe Galea Curmi will lead the mass and lead the rite of the installation of the new parish priest.
Sunday 6th January is the Epiphany of the Lord. The 9;00am mass will be for children and families while the 6:30pm mass will conclude the Christmas festivities.

Monday 24th December, Christmas Eve, at 6:00pm we will have vespers and the vigil mass at 6:30pm.
The night vigil will start at 9:30pm and at 10:30pm the solemn Christmas mass that includes the traditional Christmas sermon by the child Larson Zerafa.
Tuesday 25th December is Christmas Day. The mass schedule will be like that of every Sunday; 6:00am, 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am and 11:00am. THERE WILL BE NO MASS AT NOON. At 6:00pm we will have vespers and the mass at 6:30pm.
On Thursday there will be the Lectio Divina at 7:00pm at the Parish Centre and on Friday the Eucharistic Adoration at the Adoration Chapel at 7:00pm.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the last three days of the year, will we have a Eucharistic Adoration at 5:45pm, before the 6:30pm mass.
Sunday 30th December is the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. For the 10:00am mass we are inviting the members of the Grufan and those couples who are celebrating their 10th, 20th, 25th, and 50th Anniversary of their wedding.

SUNDAY 9 th DECEMBER 2018
On Tuesday there will be the meeting of the Group of Christian Couples at the Parish Centre at 7:00pm.
On Thursday there will be Eucharistic Adoration at 5:45pm in the Parish Church and on Friday at 7:00pm in the Adoration Chapel.
On Thursday the Lectio Divina will take place at the Parish Centre at 7:00pm.
On Saturday 15th there will be a seminar for all pastoral ministers of the parish led by Fr. Anton Portelli at the Parish Centre between 9:30am and 12:30pm. All those who serve in the parish are encouraged to participate.
Saturday marks also the beginning of the novena for Christmas. At 6:00pm there will be the evening prayer, the novena prayers and a Eucharistic celebration. The 6:30pm mass will be with the participation of the Kummissjoni Festa and the Balluta Band Club.

We are organising a Christmas Bazaar in the Church Store in aid of the parish expenses. One can find a variety of items.
From today the Kummissjoni Festa Esterna Balluta, will be organizing a Bazaar in the Feast Decorations Store. The same Commission will also be organizing the delivery of Christmas presents by Father Christmas on Friday 21st December. It is important that the gifts will be wrapped and the name and address written on them. They may be brought to the Parish Office or to the Feast Decorations Store. The same Commission is also organizing a High Tea on Sunday 16th December at the Parish Centre at 2:00pm.
