PARISH NOTICES

SUNDAY 25 th NOVEMBER 2018

Tonight we are celebrating the feast of Christ the King.  The transport organised by the parish for the Diocesan celebration in Valletta will leave Balluta Square at 4:15pm.

On Thursday there will be the Eucharistic Adoration at 5:45pm and on Friday, the Eucharistic Adoration takes place in the Adoration Chapel at 7:00pm.

On Saturday 1st December our parish together with the other parishes of Sliema will be organizing an Advent Retreat at St. Joseph School Sliema between 9am and noon for all those who have a pastoral ministry in the parish. The speaker will be Fr. Carmelo Refalo.  We encourage you to participate.  Those who wish to join can put their names on the list in the sacristy.

On Monday 3rd December there will be an important meeting at the parish centre at 7:00pm for all those give their service in the liturgy, as singers, readers, and extraordinary ministers of the eucharist.  All these are encouraged to make their best and participate at this meeting.

We remind you that on the occasion of the Christmas Season the Diakonia Commission of our parish will be distributing hampers to the needy families of our parish.  In the next weeks we will be collecting food items in the chests provided in the church to help these people.  We encouarge everyone to help while keeping in mind that THERE IS MORE JOY IN GIVING RATHER THAN IN RECEIVING.

During this week the parish office will be closed because the parish priest will be participating in the annual retreat for parish priests.
