1. FRIDAY is the first Friday of the month. On that day we also celebrate Creation Day. We are encouraged to commemorate this day with prayers for the Care of Creation.  At 5.45pm there will be adoration led by the Divine Mercy Group.

2. ON SATURDAY, after the 9.30am Mass, there will be the recital of the The Rosary.

3. On FRIDAY 8th September a Gozo by Night activity is being organised where we will be attending the feast of the Nativity of Mary at Xagħra. Tickets from Doris Mallia or from the parish office.

4. Those parents who would like their children to attend Catechism at one of the Balluta centres, are kindly asked to register their children at the parish office during parish office hours. Those who will be enlisting for the first time will be needing a Baptism Certificate.

5. NEXT MONTH, starting on Thursday 28th September and continuing ever Thursday, a preparation course for marriage is going to be organised. Information from the parish office.

6. Another issue of the FLIMKIEN Magazine is out. Helpers are kindly asked to collect copies from the sacristy.

7. The Sliema and St. Julian’s Local Councils would like to inform all persons aged 55 years and over and who would like to take the seasonal influenza vaccine, to phone the Local Council by not later that 11th September.

8. The Sliema Local Council will be organising the 3rd edition of ‘Tas-Sliema Wirt u Niesha’ (Sliema’s Heritage and its People) on Wednesday 25th October 2017, at 7.00pm at the Salesian Theatre, Sliema. Hence, nomination forms are being sent to residences so as those who wish to nominate persons for the Sliema Honour can do so by not later than Wednesday 6th September.  Forms can also be collected from the Sliema Local Council.

9. We wish a happy feast to the parishioners of Julian’s Parish on the occasion of their Patron’s feast.

PARISH NOTICES – SUNDAY 13th AUGUST 2017

TUESDAY IS THE FEAST OF SAINT MARY.  It is a holy day of obbligationa and mass times will be as those on a Sunday.  We encourgae everyone to hear mass and pray to Our Lady to stand by our families and our people

On the 8th of September we will be organising a Gozo by Night outing for the feast of Our Lady of Victory. Tickets can be obtained from Doris Mallia or from the Parish Office.

PARISH NOTICES – SUNDAY 6th AUGUST 2017

1. We thank all those who have helped in the internal and external preparations for the feast of our Patron, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Special thanks to the members of the External Feast Commission and  the Committee of the Musical Society, Tal-Karmnu, Balluta.

2. This evening at 7.15pm in Independence Garden, the Holy Rosary will be recited infront of the statue of Our Lady.
